Edinburgh Party Night
I went to Edinburgh again last night, this time for the Ceroc party at Marco’s.
It was a really good night. I especially found the music much better than last month.
I’ve been reading back through all my various experiences at Marco’s and every time I say it’s the wonderful, beautiful ladies that are there that really makes the night for me.
Last night was no different. Despite there seemingly being fewer girls there that I knew well, I got lots of good dances, every one a winner in some way or other.
The music… I really enjoyed pretty much all of it from when I arrived (about half 9) until the end. (We’ll just gloss over the songs by a certain two individuals whom I’ve mentioned before here…) There was maybe only one track that I danced to that make me think “what on earth???” That’s good going for a party for me.
As a result of the good music and the excellent dancers, I found myself dancing really well (for me.)
Sometimes I find it easier to get experimental which I’m dancing… I think this takes both the right sort of music (not too fast) and the right partner – someone who inspires me in some way… Thing is they don’t need to be a particularly good dancer, perhaps it’s the feedback they give – the looks, the smiles, that sort of thing.
There’s a couple of girls who I see quite often in Edinburgh and other eastern parts. I enjoy dancing with them, but too often they don’t seem to be paying me much attention. With one of them, I found over the space of a few dances over the night that I had better dances with her when she was looking at me and rewarding my efforts with a smile. That said, when I seemed to have lost her attention, I would try harder to do something special to bring her back…
Anyway, I think I’ve babbled enough for now…
I had a brilliant night, got to see lots of friends and had some magic dances. What more could a Glasgow lad ask for?
Hope you all had good nights too.
(Oh, and thanks again to the folks I got a lift over from Glasgow with. Very much appreciated.

Are you sure Aleks? I thought we had two? Oh well, we’ll have to make up for it if I make RH&B next week.
Scot, I think I heard two songs by good ol’ Shakey the other night, and certainly I enjoyed dancing to one of them (I was resting when the other one came on) but I’d rather keep it a secret as it’d ruin my credibility with all the cool dancers in Glasgow.
