Hyperreal

Due to circumstances entirely within my control – mostly – I only made it to the freestyle at the GUU tonight.

I only got about an hour’s worth of dancing, but it was worth it, as I really enjoyed myself.

The GUU is our new venue for our weekly dances, and it’s going to be interesting seeing how this works out. I can see it being a bit crowded, though later in the year when there’ll be a second room, it should work better…

A wee word of warning to any visitors not familiar with the GUU: the floor can be very fast, though at the edges where it hasn’t been danced on and polished so much it is much more grippy. Choose your shoes accordingly!
