Hi Martin, it was the version mentioned in the forum that Whitebeard had been looking for – the one by Kathy Mattea.

According to Sheena's post on the forum she played two of her 9 versions. (One of them was before the workshop.) I guess I'll maybe get to hear some of them on the 17th... :)

Which version of 'Wade in the Water' were you hoping for. Don't you know that Tiggerbabe now has 9! I have no idea which one she DID play, but it was great.

Sandstorm was a wee treat for me (and I knew you'd appreciate it  )- it's one of my fav tracks and is brilliant for interpretation IMHO.
I had quite a few requests last night and tried to accomodate most of them (all bar one actually).
We get a total mix of people and I try to play something for everyone although the remit does give me the chance to play things that I couldn't try out on a normal class night
I thought there was a great buzz, the workshop was excellent and there were at least a dozen people there who unfortunately couldn't stay on for the freestyle.
Great to see your good self, Claire S and CJ arriving :D Better late than never!

One thing I forgot...

To talk about the venue!

It's a cosy wee place, though last night it was a bit too hot... Need to remember to wear a thinner t-shirt next time I go...

If only it could be a bit nearer...
