(C) CerocScotland Forum
Great to meet you in the "flesh" Ducasi
Those shoes of yours are just too sexy.
Thanks to JoC for feeding various named individuals my way.
Sorry if I forgot anyone's name but great to meet: Danielle, ClaireS and inadvertently bumping into KillingTime at the "haven't you got homes to go to?" time.

I enjoyed the evening at Marco's. There were plenty of accomplished dancers to keep me in my place and challenge me to do something that was "interesting" (yes, yes, I know everyone prefers beginners moves done well etc. etc.) There were a fair number of beginner dancers Marco's which is a good thing in that new people are keen to learn this dance. Well done to CerocScotland for that achievement.
End (C)

However, I am concerned that if the women came straight into freestyle with no classes they might be intimidated. I encouraged a couple to come back to Edinburgh lessons - they probably thought I was being a patronising English twit. I probably was.

Oh and JoC is Jo over in this world, Tiggerbabe is Sheena, and Killingtime is Gary.Too, too confusing (*lies down with a copy of "The People's Friend" to recover*).

Good luck in the comps (sound of Scottish knees knocking).

Jo asks... "do you think the shoes have made a difference (be it physically or psychologically)?"

Not sure... As I don't perceive the "New, improved with added smoothness" thing myself it's hard to say... We'll have to try dancing next week with and without the shiny shoes and see...

What I did notice was the shoes had me slipping about all over the place last night, even after attacking them with my suede brush. That's not smooth. :(

Gary: figured out again how to do links to put a link to your blog. :) Cheers!

Yeah we do tend to have at least one dip, lean or drop in Scott's lesson; I found that dip to difficult to execute (really just getting the woman's arm into position) anyway. Glad you had a good time over at the Edinburgh party and I will come to a Glasgow one at some stage. It was good meeting you in real life.

I'll just have to tuck away that little bit of 'weak spot' information in case it comes in handy some day. Seriously though, I did notice added smoothness, do you think the shoes have made a difference (be it physically or psychologically)?

Thanks Jo! :D Loved our dances... But please don't mention the Cliff thing again – I'm only just beginning to get over that trauma...

Hi D, glad you enjoyed it this time, that was was one of my best Marco's nights ever. Thought you were dancing super (on-fire of course) smooth, especially to Cliff... loved the shoes.
